Lake of the Ozarks Crappie Rama 2012
The lake is open! Captain Ron’s is holding the Lake of the Ozarks Crappie Rama 2012 on Saturday, April 21st. Of course, everyone is welcome to participate. Beginning at 6:30am, contestants will be allowed to launch their vessels anywhere around the Lake. You will be allowed to fish until 2pm, when the competition officially ends, or until you’ve caught 10 fish (the limit per boat), whichever comes first. The official weigh-in of all fish caught will take place at 3pm at Captain Ron’s (Lake Rd 5-50, Sunrise Beach, MO). If you aren’t in the weigh-in line by 3pm, your fish won’t be counted.
The entry fee is $60 per team. There is a 60% payback and all proceeds will benefit the Lebanon Hillcrest School, a local elementary school. Prizes will be awarded after the results of the official weigh-in have been tallied. If you and your friends are interested in joining in, you can mail in your entry form to Jason Starnes (351 Prairie Ridge, Lebanon, MO, 65536), bring it in to Larry’s Barbershop (on Madison) or you can turn it in to Captain Ron’s from 5pm to 8pm the night before or 5am the morning of the tournament. If you love fishing or simply want to go drown some worms, consider participating in the Lake of the Ozarks Crappie Rama 2012 on Saturday, April 21st. You’re sure to have a ton of fun. But beware. There will be no “whale tales” told here. Polygraph tests will be given to the top 3 fishermen, big fish catcher and one completely random participant. The story about “the one that got away” won’t help you win. And proceeds from this fun event will be going to the local Hillcrest Elementary School. It’s a win-win for everyone!
