The annual Lake of the Ozarks Dock Dogs competition takes place this weekend, June 8-10, 2012 in Osage Beach. The Dog Days Cannonball event, hosted by DockDogs Worldwide, judges powerful pooches on their abilities for Outdoor Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieval. How appropriate is it that it’s being held at the Dog Days Bar & Grill (1232 Jeffries Road)?

4pm – Big Air Wave #2
6pm – Big Air Wave #3

Saturday, June 9th
10am – Onsite registration and practice
11am – Big Air Wave #4
1pm – Big Air Wave #5
3pm – Big Air Wave #6
5:30pm – Extreme Vertical Competition

Sunday, June 10th
10am – Onsite registration and practice
11am – Speed Retrieval Competition
1pm – Big Air Wave #7
3:30pm – Speed Retrieval Finals
4pm – Big Air Finals (Amateur, Semi-Pro and Pro)

It’s too late to pre-register your pooch for the Lake of the Ozarks Dock Dogs competition. But you can still bring your furry friend to Dog Days Bar & Grill on the day of the event to register. It’s just $30 per team for the Big Air, Speed Retrieval and Extreme Vertical competitions and $30 per team for the Iron Dog Rankings.
