Fireworks Over Lake of the Ozarks
Not sure where to go to watch the sky light up at night on July 4th? There’s nothing like watching fireworks over Lake of the Ozarks. In fact, there are several places at the lake where you can join others to enjoy the dazzling display of colorful pyrotechnics.
Captain Ron’s (Lake Rd 5-50, Sunrise Beach) – Leave it to Captain Ron’s to provide a place to celebrate our nation’s independence. It’s also Jazz Night. So, you can listen to soothing jazz at 6pm, grab a bite to eat, enjoy some liquid libations and then, at dusk, watch the fireworks over Lake of the Ozarks. Now that’s heaven!
Tan-Tar-A Resort (State Rd KK, Osage Beach) – Play at the water park during the day and watch the sky light up at night. What a cool idea is that? If a water park doesn’t fit your idea of fun, play the links at either one of Tan-Tar-A Resort’s two championship courses. There is always relaxing at their luxury Windjammer Spa, too. To make your reservation, please call 1-800-826-8272 or visit their website now. Rooms fill up quickly, so don’t hesitate!
Lodge of Four Seasons Resort (13MM by Lake of Horsehoe Bend Pkwy by Land, Lake Ozark) – While fireworks may be the grand finale, the Lodge of Four Seasons entices you with a lip-smacking BBQ from 7pm to 9pm. Adults are just $21.95, kids ages 6-12 are $14.95 and children under 12 get their tasty treats absolutely free of charge. For more information, please call 573-365-3000.
Celebrate the 4th of July in spectacular fashion…with fireworks over Lake of the Ozarks. Whether it’s at Captain Ron’s, Tan-Tar-A Resort, Lodge of the Four Seasons or anywhere else, please remember to always be safe and sane when celebrating. Anyone caught with illegal fireworks may face a steep fine and possible criminal charges. So be smart and have a happy Independence Day.
