There are some amazing recreational opportunities living next to a lake like Lake of the Ozarks. Boating is just a way of life here. This Friday and Saturday, July 20th & 21st, thousands of boaters will be on the waters to celebrate AquaPalooza 2012 at Lake of the Ozarks.

In what has become the largest family boating event at the lake, Lake of the Ozark’s AquaPalooza is also one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the entire country. While MarineMax and Sea Ray hosted AquaPalooza events at the lake in the past, this year, local radio owners Benne Media and the lake’s own Dog Days Bar & Grill will be producing. The event will begin with a lake-wide marina showcase from 3pm to 7pm on Friday. Dealers from all over will be bringing the latest models of boats and other watercraft to showcase. Special promotional offers will be available at the showcase only. There will also be plenty of food, music and prizes handed out as well.

On Saturday, the on-the-lake fun really begins. From 12pm to 5pm, the Dog Days Bar & Grill (located at 19MM) will be hosting four live concerts, including female Australian musicians the McClymounts and AC/DC tribute band Hell’s Bells. Again, there will be plenty of food and lots of activities planned for everyone of all ages to enjoy both on AND off the water. Admission is absolutely FREE!
