Osage Beach Catch a Vet Fishing Tournament 2018
With Memorial Day just a couple of weeks away, it seems a fitting tribute to do something to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Proceeds from the Osage Beach Catch a Vet Fishing Tournament 2018 and the accompanying dinner and auction benefit Goldstar College for Kids. So, not only do you get to spend the day fishing but you also get a chance to win a cash prize as well as help kids of military members. Sounds like a win-win for everyone!
At the tournament, individuals and teams compete for a grand prize payout of $1500. Don’t worry if you don’t nab the big one, though. You might still walk away with cash in hand. Organizers plan to pay the top 10 places. But the payout for second through tenth depends on how many people join. Participants cast off at 6 am sharp at the PB2 marina. After the last weigh-in, dinner awaits at the Elks Lodge. Bid on some amazing items at the silent auction, including signed jerseys from pros athletes, rods, reels, tackle, and much, much more. Remember, proceeds go to charity. So, be as generous as you can.
