Spring Big Bass Bash 2019
Love to fish? Interested in winning a cash prize? Sign up for the Spring Big Bass Bash 2019 event in Osage Beach this weekend. The competition is divided up into four time slots: 6:30 am to 9 am, 9 am to 11 am, 11 am to 1 pm, and 1 pm to 3 pm. This tournament pays up to 35 places in each time slot ($185 to $1500). In addition to winning in one or more of the time slots, your fish could nab you the grand prize of $100,000 for the biggest fish of the weekend. They pay for the top four biggest fish overall ($5,000 for 4th, $10,000 for 3rd, and $20,000 for second). And, for all the fisherwomen out there, receive a $1000 bonus for catching the heaviest fish of the weekend. Not bad for a weekend on the lake!
Kids Can Compete, Too!
For just $10 per day, any fisherman (boy or girl) aged 12 and under can compete for a $100 grand prize in each of four divisions: bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie. Top three weights win in each division. They have from 6:30 am to 2 pm to catch the biggest fish they can and turn it in for official weigh-in. Entry fee must be paid at the start of fishing.
Online registration is now closed. However, you can still sign up in person this Friday between 12 pm and 8 pm at PB2 in the Grand Glaize State Park. Or visit one of the weigh-in stations on either day of the tournament. Just make sure to get there early (5:30 am). Cash or credit cards only, please. No checks accepted.
