Lake Area Golf Events for Father’s Day 2019
What: Folds of Honor Charity Golf Tournament
Where: Horny Toad Entertainment Complex (2359 Bittersweet Rd, Lake Ozark)
When: June 14th to 17th
Contact: Camden on the Lake Resort (573) 365-5620 or via email
Camden on the Lake Resort plays host for this year’s Folds of Honor charity golf tournament. Watch Dr. Zhivegas play their dance rock music live and in concert on the stage Friday and Saturday night with no cover charge. The golf tournament itself takes place on Monday, June 17th at the resort. Create your own team or join other single players at the tournament to form a new team. A portion of the money raised from the golf tournament as well as $1 from each Budweiser purchased during the concert goes to the Folds of Honor charity.
Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor stared as a grassroots operation back in 2007. They provide scholarships for the spouses and children of fallen soldiers to further their education. Scholarships also help families of disabled service members as well. They raise money for their scholarships through golf tournaments like this one and through online donations. If your dad served/serves in the military and loves to golf, this would be an especially wonderful gift to give him this Father’s Day.
What: Father’s Day 3-Person Scramble
Where: Eldon Golf Club (35 Golf Course Rd, Eldon)
When: June 15th & 16th, 7:30 am to 2 pm
Cost: $180/team + $45/team cart rental
Contact: Eldon Golf Club (573) 392-4172 or via email
This tournament begins with a double shotgun start at 7:30 am and 1 pm each day. Are there three golf-loving dads among your friends and family? Pool your money together and give them a weekend of fun on the links. Add skins and/or mulligans to the mix at the golf club before they play.
Forget the ties this year. Handmade cards are nice and all, but we think your dad would really rather tee off at one of the lake area golf events over Father’s Day weekend this year. Sign him up right now!
