Throughout the year, the YMCA provides a safe space for people of all ages and walks of life to get into shape. They provide group exercise classes, access to a wide variety of fitness equipment, water aerobics classes, free childcare while you exercise, and so much more. But to keep costs down, they need your help. You can do that while having a great day out on the lake by signing up for the Lake Ozark Three Rivers Run 2019.
Lake Ozark Three Rivers Run 2019
Bring your own personal watercraft to Bagnell Dam next Wednesday, July 24th, and go exploring around our Missouri rivers. This 240-mile trek (yes, we said 240 miles!) takes you from our very own Bagnell Dam up the Osage to the great Mississippi River and ends at the landmark St. Louis Arch. That’s one heck of a journey! The fuel, oil, and food you need to sustain you on this excursion comes included with your registration fee. However, you’re responsible for transportation of your PWC to the start line (at Bagnell Dam) and from the finish line (at the Arch).
But, before you start your run, come to the pre-party on the 23rd. That takes place at 6 pm at Dog Days Bar & Grill (1232 Jeffries Rd in Osage Beach). Here, guests enjoy a delicious dinner buffet as well as a chance to bid on some awesome items in the silent auction. All money raised from the run, auction, and raffles goes directly to funding Tri-County YMCA’s many programs.
Registration for the Run
To register for the Three Rivers Run, contact the YMCA at (573) 348-9230, email event organizers or stop by the YMCA at 950 Airport Rd in Osage Beach to sign up in person. It costs $750 per rider to enter. If you want to take a passenger with, you pay an additional $100. As we stated before, your registration fee includes all fuel, oil, and food for the run as well as the pre- and post-party festivities. Raffle tickets cost $20 each. With each ticket, you have a chance at your choice of an amazing PWC donated by Surdyke Yamaha.
